It is most likely that the oldest recorded solar eclipse (based on Chinese Chronicles) was 22 October, 2137 BC. The newest solar eclipse will be Monday, April 8. Eight-time Emmy-nominated meteorologist Joe Rao will shine a light on the science of eclipses, and what to watch for in April.
